It might sound easy and simple, but the reality is far from it. Managing Payroll is actually quite complex, time consuming and involves complying with various Philippine laws and dealing with up to five different government departments. Then, there's the added complexity of actually making the payroll payment in different foreign currency exchange and electronically depositing funds into many different international bank accounts

At Remote Staff, all this is done for you; our online timesheets system we developed is linked to the client invoices that are then linked to the staff payroll system. This whole process is streamlined as much as possible so that staffs are paid on time at the end of every month in their local currency.

Remote Staff has gone to extensive efforts to  ensure that staff are working online, are on time and performing work related activities. Every day, contracted staff must log in to the Remote Staff platform.  The Remote Staff platform helps the staff demonstrate to the client that they are in fact working on work related activities and prove the number of hours worked each day. This isn’t a system used because we don’t trust the contracted staff, it’s more relevant for used to secure and guarantee the staff wages.

At Remote Staff we found that working remotely does require that trust always remains and as a result is the foundation of working relationships, this is why we have a compliance team in place monitoring your contracted staff activities every day. We found that eliminating any work performance doubts will help tremendously in giving the confidence and space for both the client and staff to get on with the job and focus at working together professionally in a remote work setting.

All these compliance practices are available to view on the Remote Staff website client login portal. But as part of the Remote Staff service we have a compliance team working in the background monitoring staff activities on your behalf. Remote Staff takes your IP and confidentiality very seriously and our compliance team respects your professional privacy. But as part of the service, if the compliance team notices any idle time, discrepancies, disconnections, lateness, or unannounced absences, they will connect with the contractor directly on your behalf and find out if these experiences this activity is are a result of them being in a meeting or on an extensive call.  If not, they will diplomatically ask the staff to explain and provide valid reasons for any work practice discrepancies. 

When employers and employees are not occupying the same workplace, we found that the compliance service offered by Remote Staff, even if not enforced, becomes much like an insurance policy against any doubts that could emerge in the future.
