Only 24-hour notice is needed to terminate a contract

Even though the 24-hour notice period is an option, the reality is that in order for an employer to properly evaluate a hiring decision with someone in a senior position could take up to six months, for those in entry to mid level job roles a much shorter time frame of a few weeks would be enough.

The reason why it’s so important for Remote Staff to deal with genuinely committed employers is because in most cases the contracted staff we seek to work for our clients has had to resign from their previous jobs. By confirming from the onset that the client is committed towards making remote staffing work for their business, we do our best to ensure that the 24-hour notice period offered for clients is not abused and is only used if things go seriously wrong.

  1. After 6 months of hire, clients would need to issue a 2 week notice period for termination.

For a staff member to resign, they would need to give a minimum notice period of 2 weeks, with an option if needed by clients for that period to be extended to one month.
